Operational Calculator for Accommodation Providers (Hotel, Guesthouse, B&B)

This webinar was delivered as part of Tourism NI’s Tourism Enterprise Development (TED) Programme 2020-21. The NI TED Programme has been designed to help the tourism industry in Northern Ireland survive and recover from the unprecedented events of 2020.

COVID-19 has had a particularly devastating impact on the tourism and hospitality industry.  Capacity reductions and the cost of implementing safety protocols mean that some businesses have struggled to be commercially viable when they are open for business and may be considering opportunities to recover lost volume through new service or product offers.  But, can you be sure that you will be commercially viable when trading or introducing those new products or services?

Tourism NI has a suite of tools available to businesses across the industry with limited in-house resources, to assess expected trading performance under such conditions.

This session, specially tailored for NI accommodation providers, will provide a practical introduction to the use of Tourism NI’s Capacity & Commercial Impacts calculators.  These calculators are downloadable tools to help business owners and managers make informed decisions about opening for business or adding new product lines or services.

Registration for this webinar is open to anyone working within the hotel, guesthouse or B&B sectors in NI, and will be delivered by Michael Williamson, Director of ASM Chartered Accountants.
