Practical Guidance for Working Safely During Covid-19
The NI Executive has agreed a range of interventions to reduce the transmission of COVID-19 within the community.
Information about new restrictions can be found here.
As Northern Ireland’s tourism and hospitality businesses respond to the changing operating environment, we’ve worked with the Department for Economy, other NI Executive Departments, PHA, HSENI and industry sectoral groups through the NI Recovery working group to bring you the key requirements that need to be undertaken to operate as safely as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A diverse set of businesses and services come together to deliver Northern Ireland’s Visitor Economy. Therefore, an overarching piece of guidance ‘Working safely during COVID-19 in the Visitor Economy sector’ has been prepared for the sector as a whole. The guidance provides key considerations that each business will need to translate into specific actions for its own unique circumstances.
Further sectoral guidance has been prepared by NI Executive Departments, as well as sectoral organisations and groups. Links to these have been provided in the relevant sections.
We understand there is a lot of information for businesses to consider as regulations and advice continue to develop, and change in response to COVID-19. So in addition to this guidance set, a series of webinars will operate through the Tourism Enterprise Development programme to assist you in navigating and responding to this change in your business planning and operations. For more information on this refer to our webinar series here.
We also have information on financial and business supports available to businesses, including the ‘Localised Restrictions Support Programme’. You can find this here.
